    Hello,

I wonder how people add the first subtitle for a movie? Is there someone who did the sync manually?

For example, if I gave you any clip from YouTube, that's let's say 30 min long. It would be easy to write what it's said in the clip, but very hard to sync the subtitle with the voice manually? Do they do it manually?

In the Tools section of this site are several subtitling programs. Some of them also have associated guides. You can easily see how it is done. Most will allow you to synchronize directly to audio or video, and all text lines are assigned to specific points of time in the movie, with specifically set durations. It is not hard to learn. You just have to look.
