  1. I was getting my DVD writer exchanged for a working on and I was asking about my ATI Radeon 9200 Video card to try to see if there was a better one I could get for little more money and the guy at the computer shop told me there was a Update I think he said firmware update that will make it like a better card ?

    Where is this ?

    You can get newer drivers, anything for that card can be found on ATI's site.

    My local Fry's has some good nvidia card, that would make it better.

    If you mean a firmware update or something then no I've not heard of such a thing. Update your drivers, and if you crazy maybe do some research and find out if people have had luck overclocking them.

    IF there is an update it will be easy to find on ATIs site.

  4. Ok thanks, I looked for a firmware update because the guy at the computer shop told me there was one, but I could only find one for this card in a MAC

    I don't think there is such a thing as a firmware update for a video card. You can have Bios updates for them but I've found nothing on the net.

    Unless there was a major issue with the card updating either the bios or drivers aren't really going to improve a whole lot. At best you may get some additinal functionality out of it such as different settings in the display properties....
