Problems with Chapters on playback

Hello all

I have put together a simple DVD with a menu including chapters.

When played back in my stand alone, i can't access manyh if any of the chapters. You can hear the dvd player wurring away looking for them. The counter actually shows the time time of the chapter but it just doesn't play.

It would seem that the dvd plays if you play the whole thing normally, but I can not play individual chapters.

I thought i would try it on my pc, an dthe same problem occurs.

I used Tmpgenc DVD Author to do the menu's and burned in 2 ways, 1st with Nero and the 2nd time with the burner software that comes with Author.

I have used the blank media before and it seems okay.

Any thoughts??

What media are you useing? It wont play on the PC?

I don't know what type of media it is other than the fact it is 4 X and printable. I have used it before on other films but have never used Tmpgenc for chapters which seems to be the problem.

I have juts tried burning at the slowest speed 2x but that hasn't helped.

It does exactly the same thing on my pc aswell.

Any thoughts

Done it on Nero now, works fine even if the picture isn't fantastic
