    After converting to Mpg, the audio is very,very tinny sounding.
    I do not need perfect audio quality, but what I am getting just won't cut it

  4. SSRC can be used alone or as a TMPGEnc plugin.

    A GUI for this command line application can be found here;
    http://www.rarewares.org/files/others/ssrc.zip

    If your converting to VCD resample to 44100Hz and load into TMPGEnc
    DVD - 4800

    Basically you should match your final destination "Sample Type"

    If you use it with TMPGEnc its much easier, TMPGEnc will controll it for you.

    Its included in the SSRC download, and according to the documentation is a high precision version of SSRC.exe........and probably overkill.
