    so...

I was very interested in the TBC-100 until I saw "NO AUDIO INPUT - NO AUDIO DELAY PLEASE SEE TBC-1000" on the Datavideo site. Are there ANY TBC's out there that are a PCI card and have BOTH the audio AND video inputs??? I already have a pci capture card with both audio & video inputs. I want to a) be able to back up commercial ntsc vhs tapes (by removing mv) that I own and b) stabilize the signal that tbc's are known to do. I think the out-of-sync audio is one of the most common problems found when capturing, along with frame dropping of course. I'll get a standalone unit if I have to. Would have been nice to save some cash while I was at it though, $300 is kinda high for the volume I'd be doing. thx

    Why does it matter?
    The audio is merely passthrough.
The TBC does absolutely nothing to it.

The only reason the TBC-1000 has audio is because the unit acts as a high quality split with 4 outputs. Otherwise, no reason for audio inputs.

I believe it says "no audio input - no audio delay"
Then the next line says "see TBC-1000" which would indicate that the PCI card has no audio pass thru and there's no audio delay. But for audio pass thru see the TBC-1000. Got it?
