Hi Guys, I'm fairly new to ripping dvds and have recently noticed on a few of my recent movies such as I.Robot that the intro and ending begins to pixel and sound gets choppy here and there. I've followed the forums and from what I gather it is either the media which I'll admitt is not top of the line or the compression. I'm using decrypter & Shrink.
I guess what I am looking for is an overall opinion as to what you think is causing this problem. Any help would be very appreciated.
Also when I rip I only re-author and burn only the movie. Should I adjust any settings when doing so. Thanks again.....

Shrink doesn't touch (compress) the sound. You've got crappy media.

I don't recall I.Robot being excessively long, so I'd guess it's the media

  7. Try using Taiyo Yudens or Maxells(made in japan). You will get way better results.
