Hi I would like to buy a bt878 capture card and use PowerVCR II to capture in real time in SVCD format or in CVD format...
I have a AMD Duron 750 MHz, 512 SDRAM, HD 20GB 7200RPM ATA-66..

It is been a long time since I used a machine so slow, so I could be wrong, I am afraid that many frames will be dropped during capture.
Get a faster processor, and just in case a bigger hard disk.No tengo miedo a la muerte. Solo significa soņar en silencio. Un sueņo que perdura por siempre. .. -
You would probably be able to capture to avi and then encode to SVCD compliant mpeg. But you'll need to wait an awfully long time for the encode to happen!
