    I have no labels or anything the top surface of these DVD-R's. Yet when on the last chapter (in this case cartoon) it skips. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks in advance.

  2. scratches,cheap poor quality media,dvd player not able to play that kind of media.
    theres a few things,but more than likely a crap disc.

    Ridata (ritek) disks have been spotty for some time
    now. Taiyo Yuden or maxell (mxl id are on the top
    of the pile for reliability. Try one of those brands
    and see if your problem disappears.

    I have not used them personally but many seem to like the Taiyo Yuden inkjet printalbes.
