How do I get multiple subtitles in a divx film? At the moment I burn the CD with the film eg film.avi and call the subtitle file film.srt, but how can I have multiple subtitles? Also, how do I convert a .sub file to a .srt file?

What kind of sub? That with .idx as company? Then you have to OCR with subrip or the like.
If .sub is text based, you can convert it with subtitle studio.
You can have several subs files per AVI if you have a player that allows you to select what subtitle file to use. There's no general AVI subtitles format/handling - it's all up to the player (hardware or software) how and what is supported.

    Try film.01.srt or film.eng.srt, etc.
