Can you post a screenshot of the files you've got ? What type are they ? Step us through how you're trying to burn it.

    A little help
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. the files are mpeg from internet. everything seems to be imported properly from my documents, my music. nero takes you through an hour long burn only to give you an error message.

Get the latest GSpot (2.52 beta), load your MPEG file into it and post a screenshot here.

"MPEG from the internet" tells us exactly diddly-squat about what you have. We can't give meaningful help till we know what we're dealing with. We also can't see your computer screen from here
    If in doubt, Google it.

We are trying, but you are not giving us anything to go off of.

We need to know what codecs were involved.

Is the file mpeg1 or mpeg2?

What the ???? I get it now!

He's trying to say that your answers have already been posted. Give us the file information (see jimmalenko's posts above) and we'll help you get where you want to go.

"Mpeg from the internet" and "burned with nero' are generic terms that tell us very little about your process. Help us and we'll help you.
