At least for many people. Someone had to start this, so I might as well do it early.

And here's a summation from the past few months (please note the name on the collar)

2 replacement chassis latter, and the Lanshare still won't stay working , and all the same problems on the client side . Tech is supposed to be coming in the first few weeks of 05 to "fix" the server, I have my doubts. Might turn out to be a bad year for Avid, espcially since we now own FinalCut for each of the computers and Apple has their SAN system coming soon...

Anyway, have a good year, see you around...
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

Wishing all of you here at videohelp.com a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous 2005 New Year's!

Here in Hawaii we will be welcoming the 2005 New Year with a big BANG! It's a big celebration here with lots of fireworks. When I say lots of fireworks it's like driving through FOG with all the fireworks smoke that fills the air. It's a cultural event here to burn fireworks. It's to scare the evil spirits away for the present year and to welcome in the new year.

We'll be welcoming the New Year with THUNDERSHOWERS, GUSTY SW WINDS UP TO 60 MPH, & possible FLOODING. Hopefully that will help eliminate some of the smoke from the fireworks.

Happy New Year, VI, and everyone else!

We've got lots of rain here in So Calif. today, and more on the way. They're hoping it won't put a damper on the Rose Parade tomorrow - they say it's not rained on the parade since 1955.

Seems like it will be semi-dry tomorrow, so not much to worry about. We're in for a wet week after tomorrow, though. But I like rain, so it's fine by me. Lots of snow in the local mountains, if you like skiing.
