  1. Hi

I hope I have posted this in the right section, I have got a couple of video files that I wont to put onto one dvd, but when I use nero vision express it comes up that they wont all fit on the dvd and do I wont to use dvd-9, but that shrinks them to about 3gb well under the dvds full capacity, I was hoping to only shrink them down just enough so the would all fit on the dvd, so I wouldn't lose to much quality, does anyone know how i could this?

    Thanks in Advance

What type of files are these...size in MB, total time in minutes, type of compression, resolution?

Give us some info and we'll give you some hints.

  3. well, without knowing more info it's kinf of hard to help u.
but, it they're MPEG2 files u can just author the DVD like normal then use DVD Shrink to shrink it to the perfect size.

It the file is AVI or some other format then you'll have to encode it to MPEG2 and use a bit rate calculator to calculate the correct bitrate to fit on a dvd-r. I believe TMPGenc Plus can do this automatically for you...

Nero is a poor encoder, I recommend that you use a dedicated program like TMPGEnc. It will allow you to adjust the resolution and bitrate so that you get the quality you want and the desired amount of video onto your DVD. Click for a guide.

  6. DVD Shrink should do it for you, you will probably have no noticeable quality loss with DVD Shrink if its not too much of a reduction.

Can you post some GSpot screenshots for all files ?
    If in doubt, Google it.
