Has anyone tried to rip A Knights Tale? I am using Smart Ripper and it starts to work then at 18% it just stops. I have never had a problem before with any other DVD. Does this title have something on it that prevents it from being ripped. Another thing I found strange was that the 1st file it rips is labeled VTS_03_01 (vob file). Any other titles I have ripped always started vts_01_01.

The VTS_03_01 may be your first clue. Is it a multiangle DVD or something else abnormal? What is the length of the title you're trying to rip? You might try selecting a different title in Smartripper.

it doesn't matter which vts_XX is stored at..it could be at like vts_69 if it wanted to, but that has happened to me before and it is most likely because your DVD disc bottom is dirty or scratched..try cleaning it CAREFULLY and try again...should solve problem
