    I was wondering if it is posible to rip parts of a video game from a disk... like you can a movie? Like just the in game movies or cinamatics?

    Try a program called CamStudio, Windows Movie Maker. They can capture what's going on your monitor sometimes. They have problems capturing movies, but should work for games.

    You can put the output of your ps2 or xbox to an input on your dvd recorder & make a dvd.
