KHypermedia, 50 for $9.99. Scans Inside. (CMC MAGE01)

Going to go pick up a 50 pack of this crap. If nothing else, I need something to throw at people who annoy me, and I've never had a CMC disc, etc.. So I'll be posting scans in about an hour..(KProbes, DVDInfo, CD-DVD Speed, etc.)

Should be interesting...Not expecting much, of course, so please hold your "they're crap" comments.

They burn great with my drives, so please hold your own assumptions of calling them crap, considering you've never even used them yet. Let us know how they worked for you.

No, they use CMC, which is crap to you, excellent for me (and a TTG01 pack I bought once, though the overwhelming majority appears to still be CMC media).

Ive never once had a problem with Kypermedia. Been using it for 2 years and over 1000 burns. Not one coaster. Dont knock it till you try it.

It's crap. Just because some people like crap it is still crap, albeit a liked crap. Never had a coaster? Well thats not a reason to say it is not crap media. Just like getting one coaster with TY does not make it crap media.

Ive used cmc with hardly any problems and I'll buy it again if the price is cheap and I need media, but it will still be crap.

Once I farted and it didnt smell, it was still a fart though.

You know, since you are already dealing with a rebate you might want to pass on this crap and keep your eyes on Newegg Ritek media. Their rebates have been crazy lately. Last week I got 50 Ritek 8X +R for $11 after rebate. Still crap but it doesn't quite stink as bad as CMC.

Chas0039...I have 100 G05's on the way atm... Main reason I'm getting khypermedia, is becuase I have an archive of media scans I've done at various speeds/firmwares/burners etc... And I've already done Ricoh 02, which is I believe what the +R 8x is, no?

Relax DVDDave. He is just doing us a favor. I really want to see what these look like on a 3500. Not many of us have a Liteon just for scanning. Besides, for $10 it would be fun to try all those really weird write stratagies you can concoct with Omnipatcher. Since I got my NEC life is so boring. Perfect burn...perfect burn...perfect burn.

yeah---life can get a little boring when you don't have a lite on to kick around anymore. i used all the lite on's up untill a month ago and i got brave and got the NEC 3500 as well as the Pioneer 108. as long as i don't go Plextor i will be OK.

I've burned about 200 various CMC discs, no skipping issues. Maybe yours will skip, but I very seriously doubt it.
