I can't dream of any reason for watching a movie on my phone - Hell, it's not even good for Tetris! (And it's a Ericsson P800 - all screen, no buttons). It's low bitrate, low resoluton, low frame rate low everyting.

I can't dream of any reason to HAVE the capability! Frankly, I wish the phone manufactureres would get off this BS notion that everyone WANT a camera phone.... I wanted to get a new phone to replace my aging Nokia and much to my dismay, all the better phones ALL are camera phones... try going onto/into a secured goverment installation with one of these... they confiscate them at the gate.... my trusty Nokia becomes the group phone whenever we go to that customers' facility....

Do you realize the bandwidth available for non "3G" phones? (GPRS/GSM) Like an old modem at best! And really - watching DVD on a PDA/phone is still something to come.
IMHO, even browsing the web on the phone is not something enjoyable. Everything looks fine and dandy in theory - in practice, phones are still pretty useless for anything beyond voice calls/text messages.
