  1. If anyone can help with this one asap i'f be very grateful - want to watch the svcd tonight

    ok..

I noticed this guy had a similar problem:

    www.dvdrhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=68028&forum=4

I am having the exact same thing. I have a 1.6 gig svcd that plays fine etc...
When I go to de-multiplex it causes tmpgenc to stop responding

Any other methods of cutting this file? I can't use mpegtool yet becuase I can't get round the first process of cutting/de multiplex with tmpgenc.

I don't 'have' womble or mpg2 edit pro either , becuase I cant' find them and they cost quite a lot.

Any other ways round this problem - must cut svcd!!

    Thanks

  2. what stop responding..do you mean when you press run a wait symbol just pops up???????....if thats it every thing is okay when you use the de-multiplex in TMPGEnc only the wait symbol pops wait 10-12 minutes and your movie is going to be demuxed....and if that stil doesnt work try BBMPeg

  3. use bbMPEG -- it should work for you

it's much better at cutting MPEG-2 files than TMPGEnc

  4. Ok thanks for the help

I am maybe being impatient. It was just that when I brought up the task manager in XP, it says tmpegenc not responding but I guess this could be because I have brought up the task bar and 'crashed' it.

    I'll give it another go...

then I'll try bbMPEG again - do I need to demux it for bbmpeg?
