  1. hi,

in the recent version of dvd decrypter, if i try to select the iso file in write mode, dvd decrypter will automatically add the mds file instead and tell me "the mds file was added instead, don't forget to do that the next time!".

it didn't use to do this in previous versions, and i am pretty sure i always selected the ISO file when i have been burning dvd's in the earlier versions of dvd decrypter... my question is if this had any effect on the burned dvd at all? would it have turned out any different if i would have been adding the MDS file when burning those DVDs?

is the MDS file of any use at all when burning single-layered DVDs?

  2. How did your burn turn out?

I think the Mds file is just info about the image.."I think".....

But if your burn work then all is good...No?

  3. Yeah the MDS file is just info and is only needed on split ISO's.

  4. The MDS is also important for burning DL disks. DVDDecrypter is trying to 'train' people to select the MDS file when one is available - it's the right thing to do.

PS. as far as I know, selecting the MDS file is never bad. For single-image, single layer burning, selecting the MDS is functionally equivalent to selecting the ISO.
