  1. I captured my video using the Aopen VX2000 box which results in a mpeg file. When I look at this video with windows media player or premiere I have a square symbol composed of 9 small squares running around in the video. Is this a kind of copy protection and how do I get rid of it?
I do not have this when I use WinDVD to watch.

    Thanks for your help,

    Kind regards,

    Wolfgang

I would suggest Paying for your Elecard Mpeg-2 decoder.

Or uninstalling it and using a free one (like the ones that come with PowerDVD or WinDVD).

Some other freebies in the TOOLS section here too.

May need DXMAN to remove that elecard junk.

It's not on the encoded file. It's the decoder that displays it. I tested it a long time ago then removed it and now use another mpeg2 decoder.
