For myself, I bought the Knex Ultimate Big Air Ball Tower. Sure its a kid's toy per se, but these kinds of toys I like, giving a nice building challenge. Also gotten myself a MP3 portable CD player, so now the MP3 discs I make I can listen to portability without being confined at home or in the car.

Gotten a new set of clothes from my mom, and thats about it. I bought my young brother the DBZ fighting game for the PS2.

I like being my own Santa. What did the rest of you get/receive?

I got $50.00 worth of COMPUSA GIFTCARDS, $50.00 cash, $100 gift certificate from one of the malls from my folks, 3 hawaiian Town & Country surfing tshirts, box of godiva chocolates, sweatshirt jacket, and a nice christmas picture frame with my nephews pic in it.

To celebrate my birthday & I bought myself a new motherboard, 250gb hd and (2) I/O Magic dvd burners (rebadged Benq 1620 drives). Everytime I went shopping online or at Compusa I ended up buying stuff for myself.

Building up tomorrow - looking forward to that. I'm looking at the chip right now, wondering what it will be like. It could be a pig and refuse to go faster or be an incredible overclocker that will scream along like a banshee.

I had a GREAT! X-Mas. The boss out did himself this year! He gave me an IBM Think pad R-51. Not the best in the world, but not too cheesey either. I already got a four pin to four pin cable to play with the video side of it. Not too shabby. I have to wait until I talk to our geek to set it up right. I can't wait to bog it down with all of the video programs that I have. Actually I am thinking about getting two external harddrives to keep all of the video stuff off of the laptop and I hope to not to get the new setup too cluttered with all of the crap that I have going on now. I bought a cheap wireless mouse for doing CAD on it but I got to find a larger one for my oafish paws(I'm giddy)

He gave anyone with ten years an eight peice 18 V cordless tool set and our choice of assorted bits and driver sets. Again not the best(Ryobi) but not too bad. We abuse these things at work and if any of them last much more than a year it is a fluke. And of course I got the average bonus, not enough for an inground pool but I could do above ground if I was so inclined. The usual steak house card and Home depot card too. I think that we have been having some morale troubles and he wants us to know that he knows where the money comes from. Unfortunately my attitudes influence most of the company and I have been way too pissed off most of the year. He tried at one time this year to talk to me about it, but in an effort not to turn the talk into a full blown knock down drag out fight I kept my mouth shut. My keeping quiet really threw him off and he knew that there was a problem. Anyhow the laptop and the restructureing of our so called "system" is supposed to help make our jobs easier and better run and more profitable. Our company is so dynamic in what we tackle that we can't just fit into a cookie cutter pattern. And we bend over backwards to kiss the custormers ass, which is highly stressfull at times and cost us short term dollars.

Oh yea the wife and kids got me something or another too

A trip to the Rose Bowl, I graudated from Texas. My wife told me that was my Christmas present for the next ten years. Hopefully she is kidding, she may not be, because she didn't get me anything this year.

  15. I gave myself $1,000 worth of reloading supplies for the target year coming up. A 25 lb. keg of powder, 10,000 primers, 10,000 wads, and 3/4 ton of shot.

    No shit.

My wife's visiting her family (whom I call the "out-laws"), so I'll have to wait to find out what she got me. Probably underwear and some useless doodads.

Thats funny, I am the the one called outlaw in my clan!
When I was younger I used to go to the local Issack Walton chapter to shoot trap and at school I shot some skeet. My old man had an Ithica over and under that couldn't miss. I wish that I had time for the simple pleasures of yesteryear. Can you even use lead shot for targets anymore?

    Hello,

I got some nice casual clothes for work. I also got a new antenna for my pc capture card that I'm currently trying to get to work (I've had four or five that never have had enough power to get a clear signal - I'm hoping I can position this one properly - a Philips Magnovox ).

Also got a BestBuy giftcard I'll put to a wireless game adapter for the xbox

I got everything I wanted... an ipod. I also got a fake Louis Vitton wallet with some cash inside, a t-shirt, car detailing kit for my new truck, and a tamagotchi.

My kid loved the toy piano we got him. We also got him some play tools, but he was busy making music with the piano all morning.

We got my mom a crock pot. She was really happy. Yay! More excuses to ask mom to cook.

We got dad 4 small cans of WD40 and a small table top wet grinder. He was really happy, too. My dad's the type to lose his tools, so he knew why I got him 4 small cans of WD40, instead of a big one. He also doesn't have a grinder, so he ends up sharpening his chisels with the 1" belt sander.

WD 40 thats a great idea, the four can part too. My last few cans of the stuff just stop spraying and I still feel like there is half a can of product inside. I have tried swapping the nozzels and poking stuff in the stem and I still cant get anything to come out. One of my favorite past times at work is to watch the people who take my can out of my tool box without asking. When they come back to complain that it doesn't work I insist that they some how screwed up the can and shouldn't have taken it without asking. I make a BIG deal about and when they finally break down and walk to their truck to get their can I often end up with another partial can of the stuff Yea, I am an *******, but takeing without asking is stealing, and conning them out of their can is justice!

Yeah, nearly everywhere EXCEPT some places in California (where else?) and the odd club abutting protected wetlands. Elemental lead is not really hazardous, it's lead salts and other compounds from industrial uses that are nasty. Most clubs these days do periodic reclamation anyway. You about break even on that financially. Price of lead (we're talking thousands of tons, minimum) versus reclamation costs.

Hope you get a chance to go again sometime. Better than golf, if you get frustrated you still get to break things. If you can. Although one time I saw a guy get so mad he launched his $10,000 Perazzi like a spear. It stuck barrel first in the ground; he stormed off, saying he was NEVER gunna shoot f*&king trap again. Of course, he returned sheep-faced later, asking for his gun. :P As a rule, excitable types like that are discouraged from coming to our range. He was told he was no longer welcome.
