I have used some Ritek and some Pro Disc with no problems. I usually burn the minus format but recently I tried a few plus with no problems using plus or minus. I needed to buy some discs and I read where Prodisc and Ritek had gone bad so I bought a spindle of Tayo Yuden, both plus and minus. I tried the plus first. I put a label on as usuall and then burned my disc. When i put it in my philips player I noticed it took a long time to read it and it did not go to the menu. I then hit menu and it popped up at the menu. Strange but at least it went to the menu. I played the movie and it was fine at first. About an hour into it one small skip. A few minutes later it turned off. I burned the disc again but this time i was too much in a hurry to put a label on. Played fine all the way through. I then put my label on and just for fun, tried it again. Played for about 3 minutes and died! I tried another movie without the label. Played fine twice. Put a label on it and it died. I then tried a minus disc with a label and its played five times fine!! I have NEVER had a problem with a label in my life. Could it be possible that the TYuden plus discs for me wont work with a label???? Is something that crazy possible? If this is so I have about 80 of them Im willing to sell for about $25. I just bought them from rima three days ago. I dont want to not use them but when I use a label it seems they wont play in my philips. Any ideas?? Thanks to all.

My idea?
DONT USE STICKY LABELS.
Get printables man..they're not that much more expensive, and it wont take long until you've saved as much bying printables and not buying packs of labels - as it will cost you for something like an epson r200.
And you'll save time, too...not having to apply the labels.. Even if all your discs work fine now...labels over time cause serious issues...I used to be very pro-sticky label...about 4 months later, when nearly 1/4 of my movies with a label would no longer work...well...I quickly switched.

I would love to buy your disc for this price but,
I only buy printable discs -
I agree with you that printable discs are best but what full face printables can you buy that are any good these days? I was happy with prodisc until I read a few posts here recently. I dont think Tayo Yuden has full face printable discs. Anyway, thanks for the comments. I appreciate it.

I've been having good luck with full face F01 Printables...
Also, TY does have some -R hub printables..I believe Rima has some in stock..Supermediastore has them listed, but they're having problems with some of them actually not being hub printable.
