I have a Sony camcorder that I have set to use 16:9 format. What is the easiest way to author a anamorphic DVD???
It seems TMPGEnc Author cannot do this unless I did something wrong.
Thanks

Is it true 16:9 or a simple letterbox ? If it's letterbox, author as 4:3. If it is true 16:9, DVD Lab will quite happily do it, although I am surprised that Tmpgenc DVD Author can't handle it.
When you encoded the footage, did you make sure it was encoded as 16:9 ?
What did you encode with ?Read my blog here.

Yes, TMPGenc DVD Author handles anamorphic 16:9 quite well.
But as 'guns1inger' points out it has to have been encoded as 16:9 otherwise DVD Author will assume it's 4:3. -
OK I will work on this more tonite.
Thanks for the confirmation.
