    I was updating my firmware on my optorite dvd burner when the computer stoped for 30 odd mins. Now it won't detect any of my 2 dvd drives. How can I recover them as i'm now desperate.

    Do you have win me or Win XP??? Just use a system restore point and it should help.

    I treid restoring but it won't complete restore. I can't understand why it won't recognise any of my dvd drives. The Toshiba still opens but the optorite appears to be totally dead
