    Huh?

If you're asking what we consider the best DVD AUTHORING SOFTWARE, in terms of ease of use and menu abilities, then ULEAD DVD WORKSHOP 2, no contest.

DVDit! PE 2.5 is also pretty good.

I predominantly use TMPGEnc DVD Author, so I may not be of much help, but GUI for dvdauthor and dvdauthorgui are both free and can both do what you wish. dvd-lab has a fully functional free trial and IMO is probably the most powerful/flexible for its price range.

Check the DVD Author section in the tools section for many many more.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I guess you don't want to hear this but I can't help myself ...

I use TMPGEnc DVD Author and it works a treat!

I have NEVER had a problem with it. It is simply the easiest DVD authoring program I have ever used. It makes menu creation and adding chapters a breeze!

Granted you are somewhat limited as to what you can do with the menu design but it is so easy and the program works so well (and is very stable) that I just can't use anything else.

I am curious ... why are you not interested in TMPGEnc DVD Author? This based on just stuff you have heard about it or have you actually tried it?

Oh yeah don't forget that you can purchase the optional AC-3 encoder for TMPGEnc DVD Author which will convert PCM WAV or MP2 audio to AC-3 format. This is a much better option for creating AC-3 audio than the popular freeware methods of BeSweet or ffmpeg.

On top of that the price is fairly reasonable. Last time I checked I think the price with the optional AC-3 encoder was about $100.00 USD

If you MUST stay away from TMPGEnc DVD Author then you might want to check out Ulead MovieFactory 3 (make sure to get the DISC CREATOR EDITION not the STANDARD EDITION). I notice that Ulead now also offers something called DVD Workshop Express which might be worth looking into. I think that is a fairly new addition to their product line so I don't know much about it but it seems to be positioned as a step up from MF3 yet the price is still reasonable.

DVD Workshop 2 has a very hefty price compared to the other two Ulead products mentioned above.

I use GFD too and have been very happy with the results. It can do batch... and its free so you might as well try it- you've got nothing to loose.

Are you for real? Read the AUP:
    # Do NOT give warez.
    # Do NOT link to warez .
    # Do NOT ask for warez.
    # Do NOT provide information how to obtain warez.
    # Do NOT advocate warez.
    # Warez includes downloaded copyrighted movies, movies that are not yet released on VHS/DVD and copying rented movies.
Here at Videohelp, we buy the software we use, if it's not free. (Then there might be those clever enough to hide the fact that they are using software they don't have the right to use, but that's another story.)
