I have access ..but I never eat there. To me making a big deal over lunch is a waste for me. I almost always brown-bag it with a hot pocket, bag of Fritos, and a Nutty Bar. Occasionally I substitute a Spam, hard salami or a braunschweiger sandwich for the hot pocket. It's plenty for lunch

It's not free ...we pay plenty for lunch there ....a typical lunch'll set you back anywhere from $8 to $15 depending on what you get. It's top restaurant quality, since it's done by Merry Rot, but still more than I want to spend on lunch

The main "restaurant" on campus serves a choice of deep fried crap or rice/pasta mush every day.

I got a curry there once. It has three little bits of meat in it, two of which were actually bones.

Needless to say, I cook for myself all the time.

I've given up on the works canteen here for the sake of my health. It is without doubt the worst food I have ever tasted. I've sampled uncooked fish, raw sausage, baked beans with plastic microwave parts, cold curry, warm salad & many more. The most recent debacle involved me purchasing an Egg & Salad roll that contained only half an egg and no salad. How the **** do you fail in making an egg salad roll ?

Actually I just like giving the Canadidians a hard time. It is a beautiful country and we use to go fishing up there a few times a year when I was a kid. Haven't been fishing up there since...1977 or so
