Hey guys
Ive been frameserving from vegas 5 to Tmpgenc using the Debugmode Frameserver for quite some time now. Only now its giving me problems. I think around a week ago i installed some audio codecs which i never successfully managed to use and so i left them. Yesterday i was trying to render a video to MPEG using the Video CD setting in Tmpgenc. When i finished the wizard, it began to encode as normal. Except!! When the video was done, i opened it in windows media player and only the first frame showed. The audio was ok, it carried on playing as normal, but the video just seem to be stuck on the first frame. I exit off media player and it gave me an 'unknown error'. I have tried other video cd MPEGS and they work fine. I tried removing any recent codecs i remember installing but the problem wont go away!! I want to see if there are any solutions before i format. I reckon its something obvious but at the moment its really baffling me!!
thanks
EDIT: Just found out the mainconcept mpeg encoder in vegas wont work either!!!
