  1. Just curious how many times, on average, you have watched a DVD that you own ? Think of DVD's purchased a couple of years ago - how many times ? Recent DVD's ? What are your most watched DVD's ?

For me, the ones that I can remember watching much more than others are "The Fugitive", "Gladiator", "The Matrix", "Heat" and last and of course not least "Rocky 3" (see user name).

I tend to watch my Horror movies more than anything.

My least watched includes The Matrix. I've seen/heard so much about it and saw one of the crappy sequals to it that I no longer want to watch it. All the exposure it's gotten in the past years has ruined it for me.

depends on the movie. I've got a bunch that I've only watched once, a small pile that I haven't watched at all yet. most of them I'd say at least twice.

    most watched...

    - Yojimbo
    - The Seven Samurai
    - The Hidden Fortress
    - The Taking of Pelham One Two Three
    - The Manchurian Candidate
    - Putney Swope
    - Blazing Saddles
    - Caddyshack
    - Super Troopers
    - Phantasm
    - Waiting For Guffman

each of these at least 8 or 9 times, Yojimbo, Caddyshack & Pelham over a dozen easily.

Most of my DVD's have not been viewed more than twice. The only exceptions being the Kevin Smith New Jersey Chronicles, all of which have been viewed a ridiculous number of times.

I've watched most of my films twice, but stuff like Big Lebowski, Bullit, A Beautiful Mind, Cape Fear (Mitchum), Rio Bravo, Big Jake, Zulu, Goldfinger, Dirty Harry, Mothman Prophecies get watched more often (all at least x10).

TV stuff that gets a regular viewing includes the X-Files (Seasons 1-5 before it went lame) and Due South (Seasons 1 and 2).

The only ones I've only watched once and don't plan on watching again are Matrix Reloaded and Die Another Day. Saw them both in the cinema and bought the DVDs to see if I had missed anything - only the £40 they cost to buy
    Regards,

    Rob

On the DVDs I own, the most times I’ve watched is usually twice, however there are a few titles I've watched more.

I played Terminator 2 and Gladiator several times.

I played a few titles lately as 2nd time around such as Beautiful Mind, Pulp Fiction, Seven, Braveheart, The Mummy and The Wild Bunch.

I am almost complete on one set of Star Trek the original TV series. I am planning sometime next year to play the 007 movies all over again.

I am planning to play more on DVDs just arrived and more is on the way for my enjoyment and I love the DVD.
