    Anyone try mixing these?

Crucial seems to be a store front for Micron...

When I bought my Dell PE 400SC I sold the 128 MB Ecc stick and got a Micron 512 MB non-Ecc. I would like to bump up to 2 512's in dual channel. The source I had for Micon dried up... Directron.com has it for $76.00.

  3. I can't say, though I know they are supposed to be close, at least.

Recently I wanted another 512 for my comp. My existing 512 was hard to find, but I managed to do it. The one I bought was DOA, so I returned it and didn't want to worry about tha company again, so I went to newegg, bought 2 X 512 of new ram, and will sell my existing.

My advice is that if you can't find an easy match for your current ram just sell it and buy some new. Today only, newegg for has for just under $140 2 X 512 3200 Corsair value chips, and the timing on them is nice and low. That's the pair I bought a few days ago for $142.
