  1. In the forum post...Not sure whats wrong...making WAY to many coasters,
Oscar said that it may be an underburn problem. What does that mean?

I am having similar problems as that young man was. But they happened all of a sudden to me.
I was using AnyDVD in combination with CloneDVD for months, no problems or coasters of any kind. Then WHAM. Out of the blue, I started getting coasters. Half the movie was there, but midway through, it would start to get the digital boxes then freeze and stop all together. I've cleared the player as a culprit for the problem. I just bought a new burner, and am having the same problem. I have also ditched any programs that may conflict with each other. I have Nero 6. (Newest updated version available).
Is it possible that the newest Nero may be the source of my problem?
Is it bad media? (I'm using the same media I always have. Memorex)
Please...I've gone through everything I can think of and gotten rid of programs I adored because they were known to have conflicts with Nero.
I am at end of my rope. I've read everything I could get my hands on in relation to possible problems and solutions. Now I'm just asking(Read that BEGGING) for a little nudge in the right direction.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Sounds like a media prob to me...
To me, the safest way to backup my DVDs is to use DVDShrink to rip & shrink, imgtools classic to create DVD image, DVDDecrypter to burn image. Never tried neither AnyDVD nor CloneDVD, since there are free tools that do the job flawlessly...
