Here's a interesting problem I'm having. My AIW Radeon is connected to the satellite receiver with coax RG6 cable and it shows mono on ATI TV. I've listened thru headphones and sound is 2 channel but definitely sounds mono. But when use the break out cable and connect audio and video cable to the dish receiver and I select Composite or S-video in ATI TV tuner option, I get nice stereo sound...I switch it back to TV tuner and sound changes to mono. Also after I shutdown and restart TV, sound goes back to mono though tuner is set to composite or s-video till I switch it to TV tuner and back to s-video to get stereo signal. I tried with PowerVCR, VirtualDub and same problem.
Can anyone please tell me why can't I get stereo signal thru TV tuner option and w/o connecting any audio/video cable. Is there any problem with ATI TV Tuner driver or something else going on here?? Any help will be appreciated.
