    I ripped a dvd and burned it to a dvd+r disk using TMPGEnc dvd author. When it was finished, it played beautifully. After a few weeks I played it again and it keeps locking up and skipping. This seems to be happening to all my disks. Any suggestions? I am using a Sony dru700.

    What media are you using and have you run any Kprobe scans and what type of DVD player are you using?
    Still a few bugs in the system...

    The DVD player doesn't matter - it does it on no matter what player I use. I had the same thing happen with Phillips and verbatim dvd+r discs.

    Many things can cause this:
    - dirty player
    - scratched/dirty discs
