  1. Firstly let me thank all those who helped a newbie like me figure out how to burn an entire movie onto one disc.....it is really handy and is working great. The only "problem" I have is the "look" of the finished project. The quality is good but the aspect seems to be a little off. I've been using the "4:3 525 line (NTSC, 704X480)" setting in the aspect ratio box and the movie quality is good but it seems like it's stretched or a little disproportional. Should I be using a different aspect ratio setting? ( I have little to no knowledge of these "ratios" ) Anybody else encounter the same "problem"? Thanks in advance all. note: I'm not sure if this helps but I don't have a 16X9 TV.....just a 'POS' 4:3 27" RCA.

Go to the left on this site and click on "What IS' DVD then click on "Video File Comparison" and "Video File Technical Information" to get up to speed on ratio's. Your ratio is in-correct, that is unless you want the dispropotional look.

  3. I'm still not understanding from reading what you suggested.

    Also.....maybe I should've noted how and what I'm using to make a "One disc VCD"...sorry. I'm using jim's guide located here: http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/TMPGEnc1CD.htm
    and using TMPGEnc to encode.
Anybody else know what aspect ratio I should be using? Thanks.
