  1. Bloody typical, get my new controller solely for playing SF Anniversary on Xbox Live and the sods go and bar me for "modified hardware".

I now have two xboxes one for Live and one for Emmulators, divx etc.

The thing which winds me up is that MSoft do not ship there boxes with High Def turned on, so the picture on the new one is a load of shite. If you do turn it on by opening the box they ban you.

    Hello,

Don't you have a dedicated nongaming dvdplayer for highdef??? Or does that make the gaming noticeably better on a digital tv??? (I wouldn't know since I use my xbox on a standard def tv).

Also of Xbox games support 720p and look great while running it.

Also how does the special edition control work? I thought about ordering one myself.

Yeah I do, however the Xbox does a very good job of playing dvd's also. The picture of the games is stunning, I wish I could post screen shots. The standard picture on the xbox is laughable. I swapped the standard lead with a MS advance av one (you can only get these from Hong Kong for some reason) and it has improved the picture but only to about 60% of what the chipped one is.

On games like SF (my favourite) and MK it is dead good. I am yet to try it with other games.

I am extremely happy with it plus it looks the part also. It would be much cheaper for you to order it, being stateside. Check out www.massystems.com
