I succesfully copy TV shows to DVD on my Panasonic DMR E55 and edit with MPEG-VCR, I am nearing the end of my TMPG trial. I have used it to author OK but can not get Audio on the Motion Menus. I have enabled the check box but nothing. The actual program audio is fine.

Would it be that in order for menu audio to work I would need the AC3 plug-in or have to demux in some way?

    Thanks

    Hech Hi & thanks

In the example above mine is showing AC3 and is greyed out.

So I have converted to audio MPEG out of MPEG-VCR & it works fine.

I therefore assume I would need the AC3 plug-in for it to work directly, although it really is no hassle to do it from MPRG-VCR.

Only thing I don't really understand is that the Titles work just not when used in Menu Items.

    Thanks

TDA allows AC3 passthrough. If your main material is AC3....it will be retained in your authored DVD. I recall trying a menu clip with AC3 once before and it didn't work....so from them on I just made the audio something else.
    Never looked into exactly why....
