  1. Hi,

I'm from the UK,so the DVD format is PAL.

When ripping a music DVD which is NTSC do I have to adjust any settings on DVD Decrypter or does it automatically save it as NTSC.

Another thing is when copying up to DVDR and the files are NTSC do I need to alter NERO settings to make sure the copy is a true NTSC copy.

I'm a little confused at making sure a NTSC original stays NTSC on the rip and copy.

    Thanks,
    Ian

DVD Decryper does not care about format, neither does nero. Both treat DVD as files and data. BTW, you can burn with DVD Decrypter instead of Nero. Sometimes it is easier (especially if copying a single layer disk) to go ISO Read/ISO Write in Dycrypter.

The programs care little about PAL/NTSC. What you rip is what you burn, unless you purposely go and change it.

Exception to the rule is when using Nero's "build a DVD" wizard thing, which will nudge you if you are using source material that isn't in the same format as your current region... and then give you the choice of changing the format if you like.
