    I usually dislike standup comedy.

    But..................

There used to be a stand-up comedy special done by Kevin Nealon (of SNL fame) on Comedy Central that was awesome. Unexpectedly so.

I really wish I could get my hands on it again.

    Eddie Murphy (RAW, SNL days)
    Chris Rock (Pre-Bigger and Blacker)
    Dave Chappelle
    Richard Pryor

    Just to name a few.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

There’s a lot of standup that I like but no one in particular – Favorites are many of the old timers (then, not necessarily now) such as Don Rickles, Buddy Hackett, Richard Pryor etc… (especially in their raunchier sets).

As for shows, Jon Stewart and his gang on The Daily Show really cracks me up as does the gang on Crank Yankers. Actually Adam Carolla / Jimmy Kimmel were pretty funny with most of their antics on The Man Show.

Heywood Banks - still a class act and hardly ever swears. You've probably heard his songs on many morning radio shows.

    i second that.

my favorite was when he pulled the woman from the audience with shorrrrtttteeeessstt mini-skirt for a card trick. after she chose a card, he did a few things then had her place it on a barstool and sit on it. he then took out a tongue depressor and had her say ahhh. when she did, he named the card. it took a second for her to figure out what happened then she turned beat red.........

I like Dave Attell, he's funny, in a funny kind of way. Jon Stewart makes me laugh too, someone should give him a show or something.

No particular order other than Chappelle is the funniest one going right now..at least to me he is.

Dave Chappelle - the black white supremist? Come on now...that's halarious.
Larry the Cable guy - wouldn't be nearly as funny without accent and dialect..."eatin britches"
    Ron White - sarcasm
Eddie Murphy - Raw, Delerious - he's just naturally funny
Chris Rock - prejudice but - like his direct blunt honesty
Steven Wright - this is one whacked out ****** - monotone with some absolutely stupid ideas
    Richard Pryor - the King
George Carlin - Love his style - "**** the children"
Eddie Griffin - I've only seen his standup once, but it was funny.

Oh sure. He was big about 15 or so years ago. Probably the most famous Scottish comedian here
