  1. I did a backup of a DVD to a DVD-R using Decrypter/Shrink/Nero

The DVD-R plays on 2 Players but not on the 3rd.

The media used was TDK and Memorex. I don't think its the media as I backed up a different DVD to the same media and it plays on the 3rd player.

So is there something in the movie that's causing this?

Are all three players that same make and model ?
Do all three support the -R format ?
Have you checked to see if others have problems with these players and some brands (See the DVD Players section <---) ?

Does it refuse to recognise the disk, or attempt to play it and fail ?

What brand/model of players are they ?

Have you cleaned the lens recently ?

  3. No, they are all different Models. Of course the one with the problem is a big name brand Panasonic.

Yes, they all play -R because like I said I ruled out the media because I can play a different moivie on the same media on all 3 players, but this one movie will not play on the Panasonic but plays on the other 2. It starts the intro, then menu, then kicks out when Play.

No haven't cleaned the lens but player is fairly new.

I have had strange problems when burning with nero! I don't know which version you're using, but my problem was that the DVD was not playing in one of my players when burned with nero. If burned with decrypter (after converting to an ISO image with ImgTool), everything was just fine.
Some people (including me) have reported problems with nero when some of the files are very small. I'm not sure whether the problems still exist or have been solved in the recent versions of nero.
This could explain why it works with some DVD, and not with others.
You should definitely try to burn with ImgTool + DVD Decrypter, and see if that works better.
