  1. captured tv plays fine with BSPlayer and Windows Media Player but when I convert the shows to SVCD or DVD and burn they are always out of sync. I have captured in .avi and .mpeg with the same results. When I used .avi it did not show any frames being dropped. I used TMPGEnc and Dvdsanta to do conversions and audio was out of sync with both programs. Clueless because it plays fine on computer.

    Any ideas?

    If you capture MPEG, then there's nothing to convert. All you have to do is author.

  5. I author with TMPGEnc Author 1.6 and still get out of sync audio.
