ID3 tag editing - help please

hello
i just bought new sony mp3 player zs-yn7
if i put mp3 to player it can read id3 tag but i shows name of song only but no name of artist in front of it!
mp3 is properly edited i think according to name of artist, name of song atd...but i would like to see both name of artist and name of song too?
in case to see both i have to put name of artist and name of song also in the line of name but then mp3 will not be properly edited i think?

Should the zs-yn7 show the artist part of the id3 tag at all?
(On a side note, I find it rather disturbing that Sony sells MP3 players at the same time as they try to make their CDs unrippable.)
