  1. Hi!

I have just done my first movie with my new Sony DCR-PC350 Handycam. I got everything in my computer in DV AVI files.

My problem is that I want these DV AVI files burned on a DVD in real DVD files. I know it is possible, but I don't have a program that can convert my AVI file in to real DVD files.

Anyone know of any good program that can convert my DV AVI files in to real DVD files. Or burn and convert my DV AVI files directly to a DVD?

    Thanks

  2. I use TMPGenc for AVI to MPEG2 conversion. Once you convert AVI to to a DVD compliant MPEG2, you have to author the DVD. For that i use DVD Lab of TMPGenc DVD Author.
check the guides section under AVI to DVD conversion. theres plenty on guides on this process...

Dozens of ways. Are you implying free? MPeg2 royalty makes that tough.

You want easy or techy hacker?

I'd just buy Sony Vegas MovieStudio if I were you.
