I was reading reviews on dvd writers; mainly the Pioneer DVR-A08/108(OEM) and the NEC ND-3500A and I noticed that the Pioneer model uses a chipset by NEC. Can someone explain what this means? Would this make the Pioneer just an NEC drive with different packaging and if not, what would be the difference?
