    I have a dvd ripped to an image. but i'm having problems with my new dvd burner. I have a TDK 5200b dvd burner. It doenst read the blank dvd's (memorex 4x). The burner is installed correectly and will read blank cd's. I copied a cd just to make sure. I'm not sure what else to do. I don think its a hardware problem. Any ideas?

    Currently the drive is set up using CSEL. Should i change it to master/slave?

    Would the dvd rom be master, and burner be slave?

    The burner might need to be master.

    You might also try cleaning the laser.

    I changed the burner to master and the dvd player to slave. Still doesnt work. Bad cds? It reads other blank cd's but not the dvds
