Hey folks,
i have a new PC for about 4 days now.
Here are the short specs about it.
P4 3.2ghz HT
1GB memory
300GB HDD
Nvidia Gforce PCX 5300 128MB VM
and other stuff..
It's a pretty fast pc i can tell you that, especially when converting my movies using TMPGEnc.
But anyone know what HT exactly is? is it dual processor ?
thanks![]()

HT stands for HYPERTHREAD TECHNOLOGY.

No It is not a dual processor. Read the above link. -
HT = Hyper Threading. It's not dual processor, and it's not dual core, but is is a way of pushing more instructions down the pipe. If it is activated, your OS will see it as two processors. Open the Task Manager and go to the performance tab. If you see two processor graphs, HT is on.
