I borrowed a Robbie William's concert DVD of a friend who bought it while overseas in China. It plays perfectly fine in my standalone DVD Player (Aiwa DV-170), but when I put the disc into my DVD drive (NEC DV-5700A) it just says "No Disc in Drive D:". My DVD player is region-free and it can read other DVDs that I got from Asia (eg. Pearl Habour). But there seems to be a problem with this one. Anybody know a solution? Thanx in advance!

  2. Was it a pirated Robbie Williams DVD? or an genuine? Pirated stuff will not necessarily always work on all DVD players, stand-alone or ROM. Depends on the quality of the pirate disc.

  4. Only other thing you can try is in another make / model of DVD Rom drive. If you have another friends with other brand of DVD-Rom drives. Not much else you can do really.
