I borrowed a Robbie William's concert DVD of a friend who bought it while overseas in China. It plays perfectly fine in my standalone DVD Player (Aiwa DV-170), but when I put the disc into my DVD drive (NEC DV-5700A) it just says "No Disc in Drive D:". My DVD player is region-free and it can read other DVDs that I got from Asia (eg. Pearl Habour). But there seems to be a problem with this one. Anybody know a solution? Thanx in advance!

Was it a pirated Robbie Williams DVD? or an genuine? Pirated stuff will not necessarily always work on all DVD players, stand-alone or ROM. Depends on the quality of the pirate disc.

It think its pirated. So will there be any way to play it or not? Thanks!

Only other thing you can try is in another make / model of DVD Rom drive. If you have another friends with other brand of DVD-Rom drives. Not much else you can do really.
