  1. Hi

Im not sure if this the right forum im trying to make Vcds out of these files im having problems with so i thought i would post it here anyway

I have a bunch of files that wont play in my Window Media Player but they play perfect in my Divx Player when I try to play them in my WMP there just still theres sound but no picture

When I try to convert these files to Mpegs with Tmpgenc they do the same thing they wont convert it , it wont go to the next frame it just stays on the one still frame the whole time

    You're lacking a codec.
Take a look at what codec's used with GSpot. Download and install newest version available.
(ffdshow is a good GP codec that cures many problems.)
And don't go installing some codec pack.

What do you play your mpegs with? (And don't say Windows Media Player - don't use that for anything)

mpeg != DivX. Use PowerDVD / WinDVD to play back mpegs.
Mediaplayer Classic is a nice piece of software that plays most formats - mpegs as well as AVIs.
