  1. Im new to this dvd business so my main problem right now is that the first dvd i made from transferring home video to mpeg format, then burning to DVD with NeroVision Express 2 has been experienced out of sync audio throughout the whole disk. There are 9 files on the disk and at the beginning of the files the first 30 seconds or so seem to be fine but then the audio is usually about 20-30 seconds ahead of the video. Is this because of a poor transcoding job done with NeroVision or it might be the compression or Super Long play or whatever was used to fit about 5.6GB of movie clips onto a 4.7GB DVD. Can someone please help so that I can burn a second dvd without problems?

  2. If you still have those original captured files I'd load a few of them in VirtualDubMPEG2 and see if they are in sync. If they play good in VD then you can bet the files are good. If they are out of sync then it will show up in that program for sure. Looks like a good place to start testing to me.

    Good luck.

  3. Is testing with that program different than what would you would see as by just watching it in Windows Media Player or something? cause they are in sync there obviously?

  4. Playing a file in Windows Media Player is nothing like playing it VirtualDubMPEG2. If it's out of sync it will show up where it probably won't in media player.

Did you try it? and are they in sync in that program?
