I created an MPEG file using WinTV PVR that I had to cut in two (due to it being a little long, I thought). I then used a utility (the WinTV editor Hauppage has on its website) to combine the two files back together. I now have one big MPEG file (about 3.8GB) that I want to create a DVD from. I created the DVD just fine (to a DVD-RW disc). It plays just fine all the way through.

Now I want to do this again and create a scene menu using Ulead's DVD MovieFactory. The only problem is that when I am trying to find my scenes, MovieFactory only shows me the first segment of my MPEG file. It is as if it doesn't recognize the second part that I joined to it. When the MPEG file is played (either by Windows Media Player or even in MovieFactory) it plays the entire file, but when I try to add scenes to a menu, it only allows me to choose from the first half.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance....

  3. This is a guess but their software may not be able to read a file greater that 2G. Load your file into the Editor of DVDMF check the clip properties and also see if you can go to the end of your video using the preview screen. This will tell you how much of the video is being read by the software.
