Having a business has made spam a chore, after filtering and deleting the obvious there's still a ton of shit I have to look at.
I'm so fed up with it I think I would support a small price per piece of sent e-mail. Say around half a cent, nothing for the average user but a huge expense for the spammer.
Of course if they started that the next thing you know it would cost just as much as sending a regular snail mail.

I get 50per day sometimes....usually a bit less. I have a free e-mail account so I can bitch TOO much. Spammers should be killed though in my opinion.

I get no spam. Not even a lousy spammer wants
to talk to me
Seriously, try mailwash or see if your isp has
an anti spam service you can lease. -
I don't actually GET the spam mails. They end up in my spam folder. I just get an e-mail every morning telling me how many I received overnight. I go and clean them out each day.....checking for one that is NOT spam. I hardly ever come across that scenario but I've caught some....mostly from old friends of mine who have changed emal addys.

I uise outlook express word filters which eliminates all of the blatant spam but that's only a fraction of it. Another issue is that 3 of 4 e-mail addresses I use are on my websites and others where it's collected by spam bots.
The trouble is that since a lot of it is business e-mail some of the subject lines closely resemble what I would expect... I have no choice but to wade through it. -
You should be glad you are not Bill Gates.
He is the most spammed person in the world. -
