i got a whole tv season and some extras for it like behind the scenes and stuff so i thought it would be a cool idea to keep it on a dvd and if im going to put it on a dvd i mosewell make menu and stuff so what i want to do is when the dvd starts to have a wallpaper of the series and the theme music and i have all that...i just dont know how to make a dvd...so i want the backround the music and then 2 buttons 1 is chapter select and other is behind the scenes...so i need to know what is the simpelst and best program for this...i dont anything about making the menus and stuff so maybe some tutorials would be realy helpfull...and all files are in .avi so what format do i need to convert them to or can they stay avi...and what program should i use for converting....thanks alot hope for some replys...

You will need to convert them to MPEG2, I use TMPGenc.
What programs do you have? -
I would recommend GUI for DVD Author for this. Its a great authoring tool, and its free. It lets you make as complicated a menu structure or as simplistic as you want. I can fill you in with more details, just ask!
