After I tried 2 external USB driven video capture cards (the Dazzle Video Creator 80 and the Adaptec Videoh DVD Media Center USB 2.0 Edition), I was disappointing. Then, I realized that internal MCE 200 deluxe was a way to go.
10 minutes to install the card to my Sony R serious P4 550.34 GHz/
1GB DDR SDRAM/250GB 3 7200rpm Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive/Dual Layer DVD+/-RW burner, just a few minutes to install the drivers, Intermedia Home Theater software.
Old family VHS videos from both my Panasonic camcorder and VCR always have crisp videos and syncronized audio. Video captures averaged about an hour each, and then, I was able to burn onto a DVD effortlessly using approx 3.1 GB of the 4.4 GB space on the DVD.
Since I bought MCE 200 deluxe that solve my problems. I really enjoy being able to watch and record TV shows on my PC. Picture is very sharp on my 17" LCD in full screen mode and a handy remote flips thru channels was barely delay.
I'd recommend this to anyone because it is has so many functions that you can do!!
